Overview
The initial installation of Baja Recovery Software requires the download of two separate components: the database and the software.
Note: Prior RepoLion users or those who have installed RepoLion, BEFORE downloading and installing this product please call Jane at (540) 602-9690 for special instructions to safeguard your existing data.

System Requirements
Please review our technical requirements before installing this product. Only Windows 2000, XP, Win 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 support this installation package.
Do NOT install on Windows 98, ME or earlier computers.

Installation Instructions
The initial installation of Baja Recovery Software requires the download of two separate components: the database and the software.

  • Download and install Baja Recovery Software. We recommend selecting the defaults during installation.
  • Download and install the Baja Database.
  • Start the program using the desktop icon to initialize system settings prior to making networking modifications.

Instructions for Use
1) Click on the Baja icon on your desktop to open the program. At this time the program will set up your new database and it may take a few seconds to display the "Login Window".

2) Start your new ID by entering your first and last name and entering the user id and password you wish to use. Click the "OK" button to continue.

3) The Backup Reminder will then be displayed. Depending upon your option in the system setup this window will be displayed if your data files have not been backed up in 1-7 days. Click "Backup".

4) The Baja window will open. Done!

5) Your initial database is pre-loaded with the system administrator account:
User-ID = sysadmin
Password = sysadmin
Please do not remove or inactivate the system administrator. Your name will also appear in the phone list and will automatically be assigned the manager security level. Manager status enables you to setup agent profiles.

6) (Optional, for new installations only) To support the saving of documents in the PDF format you must install the latest version of Ghostscript from the ghostscript site (www.ghostscript.com). After installation you must add the path to the ghostscript binaries (e.g. "C:\gs\gs8.15\bin") to the PATH system environmental variable.
